Product Description
ISO T50 Tank Cryogenic storage tanks are vertical or horizontal double-layer vacuum insulation storage tanks used to store liquid oxygen, nitrogen, argon, carbon dioxide and other media. The inner tank is made of austenitic stainless steel; the material of the outer container is Q235-B, Q245R or 345R according to the national regulations according to the different regions of the users.

T50 Tank structure Liquid natural gas must be stored in cryogenic storage tanks, which are usually composed of an inner tank and an outer tank, filled with insulating materials. T50 Inner tank The inner tank, also known as "film tank", is a liquid-tight and flexible inner container made of thin low-temperature steel plate. It must transfer the hydraulic head to the insulation. The material used as a film must have the characteristics of not being brittle under low temperature conditions, and have sufficient toughness and good processing performance. T50 Tank heat insulation While transmitting the hydraulic head to the outer tank, the heat insulation layer also plays the role of reducing the amount of gasification, reducing the temperature difference between the inner and outer walls of the tank, and reducing the resulting temperature difference stress. In addition, it also has the function of fixing the "film". Therefore, the thermal insulation layer is required to have low thermal conductivity and sufficient strength. We use rock wool insulation. After the liquefied natural gas is injected into the tank, the inner tank wall will shrink; on the contrary, after the liquefied natural gas is completely discharged, the temperature inside the tank will gradually rise, and the inner tank wall will expand accordingly. The powdery insulation material filled in the middle of the inner and outer tanks becomes tight due to the repeated expansion and contraction of the inner tank wall. Therefore, a layer of heat insulation layer with strong elasticity must be laid near the inner tank. The thickness of the heat insulation layer is compatible with the expansion and contraction of the inner tank wall, and it acts as a buffer when the inner tank wall expands and contracts to ensure the safety of the storage tank. run. T50 Outer tank (also known as tank) The outer tank is the shell that can withstand various loads, and it must have sufficient strength. According to the different materials used, it can be divided into the following types: frozen soil wall, steel wall, reinforced concrete wall and prestressed concrete wall. ①Frozen soil wall. The permafrost wall and heat insulation cover form an airtight closed space as the outer tank, also known as pit storage. During construction, cooling pipes are used to freeze the soil around the inner tank. After the pit storage is put into production, the cryogenic liquid will keep the surroundings in a frozen state, and this permafrost will expand year by year, so the evaporation loss will also decrease year by year. A prerequisite for the construction of a pit storage is a high water table. In addition, the bottom of the pit storage should be the least permeable rock or clay layer. ②Steel wall (including alloy and aluminum). It is only applicable to the construction of above-ground low-temperature storage tanks. The above-ground low-temperature storage tanks for liquefied natural gas are different from ordinary temperature storage tanks. It must be considered that the ground under the tank will bulge due to soil freezing and expansion, which may cause damage to the tank. Therefore, measures must be taken to prevent the ground soil from freezing. Generally, above-ground storage tanks can be divided into two types: floor type and elevated type. The floor-standing bottom is insulated with perlite concrete, and inside the tank we install electric heaters to prevent the soil from freezing. The elevated type is to support the tank chassis with columns to separate it from the ground, keep the air between the storage tank and the ground unimpeded, and prevent the liquefied natural gas from absorbing a large amount of heat on the ground to avoid freezing of the soil. ③Reinforced concrete wall and prestressed concrete wall. These two kinds of outer walls are the main materials of underground tank shells, which have the following advantages: a. Reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete are good low-temperature materials. Even if the membrane is damaged, the contact between the low-temperature storage liquid and the prestressed concrete wall will not damage the outer wall; b. Good durability, not corroded by groundwater, not brittle; c. It has good liquid tightness and has good shock resistance.

In terms of design, the AGEM Gas Liquid storage tank and tank container have an integrated structure that enables more outstanding vacuum isolation. Thus, the tanks have better heat preservation performance to allow longer transportation time which can eventually minimize maintenance costs. Our goal is to provide lighter, larger, safer tanks. Especially for portable tanks which do not require additional port infrastructure, we can use the existing resources and transportation including cargo loading and unloading, conventional transport cargo ship, coastal highway, as well as trucks to make more flexible direct transportation.
