Britain: "Laughing gas" will be controlled by the end of the year, and abuse (drug abuse) will be punishable by up to 2 years in prison
In September this year, the British government legislated on "nitrous oxide" (nitrous oxide) to control nitrous oxide as a Class C drug. This measure is expected to take effect at the end of this year.
In October this year, my country enacted legislation to list etomidate vinegar. Abuse of etomidate vinegar in our country is drug abuse and is illegal. Category C drugs in the UK are basically controlled, and the related penalties are different from those in my country. The illegal possession of nitrous oxide may result in a prison sentence of 2 years, an unlimited fine, or both. The maximum penalty for illegal production is up to 14 years in prison and an unlimited fine. There will be exemptions for legitimate uses of nitrous dioxide, such as in restricted medical or catering industries.
For example, if you have a small cylinder containing dinitrogen in your house in the UK, as long as you don't have enough evidence to prove that it is used for medical treatment or cooking, once the police discover it, you may have to file a lawsuit.
